Best oil for E60 M5?
Discussion
Hi all,
I recently purchased an E60 M5 and wondering whether to go for either of the following:
Fuchs Titan Race Pro S 10W60
Fuchs Titan Race Pro S 10W50
Or Castrol of some sort?

Thanks all, I checked with the company who did the rod bearings and the oil they used was 10w60. I also rang Sytner Nottingham and they recommended the same so I have ordered this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/384160138248

I would not dare drive that car without LM Ceratec in the engine oil, 6% of the filling capacity. In that case no issues with either of the mentioned oil specs. The thicker one if tracking it or driving hard.
Interesting thanks, never heard of this type of thing.Limited100 said:

The only one I've actually seen the results and highly recommended by troy jeup (he warranties his rebuilds with it)I recently purchased an E60 M5 and wondering whether to go for either of the following:

5w50 redline. Wonderful oil. Motul 300v without the sudden fallout in 'performance'.
