Hi All
With the UK about to start opening up again its time to start looking at replacing the M135i. I have had the car for nearly 8 years and its been great with no issues or spend other than consumables and servicing. I have a budget of up to £55k, drive 5-8k miles in a typical year. I have been saving and want to buy something special to celebrate my 40th, even if it was last year.
I have been looking at Porsche 911 (late 997 / early 991) and Cayman 718 S/GTS but with the 911 I am worried about the running costs that come with a 8/9 year old Porsche and the Cayman is a 4 cylinder car, I know I will drive one before I spend the money.
With a budget of up to £55k the M4 CS and a few M3 CS's have caught my eye, anyone have experience of running one of these? Are they worth the premium over the competition pack cars? Are they suitable as a daily or will the track focused parts of the car become annoying?
I really like the idea of the CS and love the look of the M3 with that bonnet bulge.
