M4 CS Amber Service marker

Hi All,
Regular reader but first thread I've posted.
After some views and opinions please.
A friend is on the look out for an m4 CS and having been searching for a while has the opportunity to buy a very nice example privately. Mid 18 plate on 3k miles and perfect condition.
The only concern is the current owner had the 2nd year service (Inc. filters and oil) completed late so it shows an amber "OK" marker in the service history and within idrive.
The service was due late Feb 20 and was completed early Nov 20. As we know dealers were closed due to lockdown from March til June for which an allowance can be made but not then having it completed til November seems unreasonable but the concern being if he bought it could he struggle at resale.
My question is, would you be put off on a private purchase due to this and if you happen to be a car dealer would you devalue the car at all due to this?
A point to note is the car had I believe only done a few hundred miles since its first service which was April 19. Its kept garaged and hardly driven.

Presumably the amber is due to the service interval (24 months or 30.000 km) has been exceeded in time? I would personally avoid it, as I have had problems in the past, even with a BMW AUC car where this was the case - so would at least check if the warranty can be extended with this being flagged.

Issues selling the car back to BMW AUC?Seems strange to delay a £300 oil service as they'll be hit much more than that with residuals. If you're asking questions, so will a future buyer. Would I be put off? Yes.
Was the RIS done on time?
Might be worth checking with BMW whether it can be warrantied as it's manufacturer's warranty will be expiring this year and I know I'd be extending my warranty after three years.

The only thing that matters is the RIS. And there is some leeway towards up to 1800 miles here.
I have traded 2 M cars back to BMW with amber history on the subsequent oil service and it’s not been an issue.
In both cases the oil service was overdue by about 2-3 months. I work overseas and am not always back in the UK when calendar based services are due. I’m not keen on having my cars collected for service, though I appreciate this is an option.
In the case of my M5, just recently traded, the first oil service (not RIS, this was done at 1080 miles), was 3 months overdue. The mileage at this time was about 7200, well under whatever the mileage based condition would have been for that work.
