Thoughts on this M4
Discussion
Contemplating getting myself an M4 following a change of circumstances.
Saw this one not far from me and whilst it's older than I was originally considering the price is appealing versus the extra £10k I was contemplating on a newer AUC car.
I know you always get what you pay for but is there anything obvious about this car that those of you with far more knowledge of M cars than I have can tell me about.
Thanks in advance

How can you tell it's 2 different stations? Any why 2 lots of faults? I see one fail, then a pass with advisories, more than likely at the same test station. The MOT results are intriguing (it's been a while since I contemplated a car tat needed an MOT so forgot you could look them up) - first test appears to raise two issues around the offside rear tyre - one advisory and one fail.
By the time of the second test there is only one advisory to do with the same tyre.

BMW normally have a plinth to fit the plate onto - although to be fair, many just attach the number plate directly..

I see the same number plate plinth on the OP's linked M4 as I do on every M4. It's unique to the M3/M4 and more slimline (less cumbersome) than the plinth from a regular 3/4 series.

Very negative views in here on what could be an ok car, independent dealers do tend to put cheap tyres on cars like these, it's not an indicator that the previous owner ran it on a budget of it has good service history. I'd try to negotiate decent tyres as part of the deal.
Headlight aim issues can be common the sensors mechanism can corrode and they can get sticky. Quite an easy fix.
If it has good service history it's possible to put your own BMW warranty on it, yes a bit pricey in year 1 but will drop significantly for year 2, just make sure its eligible before buying. I wouldn't assume a BMW AUC car will be any better because you are paying more.
