Battery swap

Hi guys,

Can I swap the battery on the M6 without any coding if it is like for like? (S5 A15 Bosch AGM Car Battery 12V 105Ah)

No, it needs coding. Where abouts are you, many PHers have the wherewithall to do this. I'm in Herts if that helps.

Worth noting RAC will swap it and do the coding. For our X5 they were only charging £20 more than the best price I could find online for the battery alone, which seemed pretty good to me for 30-45mins work.

I was only going to get a 2nd battery just to swap over so I can charge the other at home as I no power at the garage and can't charge at home (no drive)

Will it be ok overnight to charge and swap back or will it still need re-doing since its been removed?

Might just download ISTA and do it myself in that case
