As a father with 2 young kids (4 and 7), I think the M5 is a great luxury sports sedan. I had an m6 gran coupe which I never liked (never had traction, interior cramped, exhaust didn't sound good) and it depreciated like a stone. The f90 m5 interior is worlds better, the seats are amazing and that engine is bonkers.

I am looking for a great deal on a comfy yet very fast car that can also accommodate the wife and munchkins. I am considering in order of preference:

1) Lightly preloved fully loaded 2018 m5 at £54k. Seems like great value. 10% down and £600 for 36 months. I was going to go for a competition car but they seem to be around £10k more and for that plus a little, I can tastefully modify the car:
- Exhaust
- Springs
- Lightweight Wheels
- M Performance Carbon Parts

2) New M5 if a super deal can be had. I have lived the deprecistion nightmare on the m6 grand coupe where I got it for £15k under list and 0 percent apr. I still lost 66% in 4.5 years.

3) S63 Coupe facelift, If I can find an amazing deal on a preloved one. They are listed at high 70s low 80s for a faclift car and I would want to find one in the mid £60s. Maybe I am dreaming but there must be corona deals out there.

I have been in Porsches for the last few years, mostly gt cars with buckets, and a comfy aporty sedan sounds just right as my family mobile.

Any advice or if anyone comes across some great deals please let me know.

Anyone know what trade in values are on the M5s with low miles (10k to 15k) or similar S63 Coupes?

Thank you

Thank you

S63 - would the lack of rear doors not get tiring?

A little, which is why the M5 is my first choice.

I also don't know why but its only in the UK that the S63 is rwd vs 4matic. The level of luxury and comfort in s63 is really something.

How are you getting those figures on the M5? i.e 5.5k down and 600 a month? There is a deal on brand new LCI models through the BMW military site for 1k down and 1k a month albeit a base spec...

I think BMW will start to push new M5 in Q1/Q2 with the M3/4 round the corner they’ll start heavily incentivizing these soon. TRL on babybmw has hinted at this which makes me co dude that’s it’ll happen
