Just running some figures through the dealership today on a factory order M5. Was informed that all cars are now being built with 2020 spec including the Live Cockpit Professional (OS 7.0) Not really a big fan of this in the X5, but this looks similar as the M8.
Also noted the service pack is now monthly cost which works out at £1,620 to include the RIS. Ouch.
Now got to decide on if to go for stock car with 'old/nicer' dash or order to spec. Deal wise doesn't really seem any additional incentives on the pre-built.

Interesting thanks !

So to clarify it will be the new style instrument cluster?

What sort of discounts are you discussing currently?

Yes, new instruments and updated i-drive. Sales adviser also said laser lights also now available. From the link he sent me, the online pdf M5 price list is fully updated (July 19) to reflect changes if you want to download (however brochure not updated).

Initial deal looking like £20k off Competition with comfort & premium pack with another £4-5k BMW support on non Comp cars. Quoted currently same deals on pre built and factory order I.e. no current additional support (yet) for old stock. This is a bit behind Q1 deals so just got to decide on whether to hang on a little to see if more in it. That said, factory order will mean I can have exactly what I what without compromise and not have a car that’s sat on the docks/dealer for 6-9 months.

I’m not fussed about the latest iDrive and certainly not interested in the new dash, looks like a dogs dinner!

On a plus note, I’m glad I bought my service pack on my car at £999 including RIS smile
