So where do people recommend for my warranties E92.... just take it along to Fairbairns and foot the bill - or is there a highly recommended (prefer first hand experience) independent in the area?

Took mine to BMW Independent in Ibrox. Always got great service and insisted on BMW OEM parts and only too happy to specify on invoice the same.

In our experience the service side of Fairbairns is very poor, remember they are really AC with all the customer service ethic that involves. Apart from that their techs seem unable to diagnose and fix fairly simple issues. Take it to Parks in Hamilton, they have fixed a few issues for us that Fairbairns were unable to. This has all been personal experience over the past couple of years.

As mentioned Prestige Car Specialists in Ibrox are decent.

I've used them with my old Z4 Coupe and my current M135i with no issues.
