I had a similar response from BMW when, in 2003, my box fresh CSL wouldn’t hold on its handbrake. Retuned to dealer with 200 miles on the clock to be told “£120 adjustment as it’s a wear and tear item”. Told them I wouldn’t be collecting the car then as it’s wearing out too quickly to be safe. Invoice became zero quickly.

The M2 has grown on me too….got a decent deal from my local dealer.
Test drive one last week and I loved it, preferred it too my Mk8 Golf R, felt special.
Zandvoort blue M2 arrives late August! Can’t wait….
Similar as in i dropped from a LCI F90 M5C Ultimate Edition to a Mk8 Golf R & then after a few months, realised it was too big a drop, so struck a deal on a new Toronto Red G87 M2 & so far am in awe of it.

Actually love the looks (Red does help i think) & feels like a proper small M car with it's growling & snorting. Have had many of the 'yet another mid-life crisis' comments.

Golf R is now up for salesmile

Enjoy, I do think the red suits it and I have had a few compliments already on mine.

I walked past a VW dealer when I picked up my M2 and a Mk8 Golf R 20 years was on the forecourt for £53k so only £6k less than I paid for a new M2!

Thank you… I’m biased but I think the F87 hit a sweet spot for BMW (functionally as well as aesthetically)

It is Long Beach Blue but the car is in shadow under a car port, hence it looks darker…

Parked next to a classic 911 at a breakfast club, it shows big cars have become!

1000M wheels just fitted, they appear to fill the arches better than the standard wheels.

If anyone is on the fence, I suggest ordering a set.

Do you know what , I’m with you , they or similar look great on the m3 touring and I’m speaking from first hand experience as there’s one runs around our town but on the m2 I’m not so sure .
There were a few m2s running around the ring when I was there a few weeks ago and from not liking them full stop I’m coming around to them , they’re certainly fast , to say the least !
I’m starting to look to buying my next and possibly last special car and these are beginning to look like a good buy

I’ve been out using a Saturday afternoon in the sun properly so I didn’t clock that ,but I still stand by what I said , I’m not sure they suit the car .
But that said I’m now looking at m2s as a good buy , I’m not seeing much else out there apart from alpine 110s or a 997turbo as a last car purchase.
Car paint and wheel choices are very personal and everyone is different .

I'm not normally a fan of gloss black wheels but I love them against my Zandvoort blue paint. They also perfectly match the black plastic body bits.
