One dealer took a deposit and an order for a G80 9 months before they were released.

My friend and I both have £1000 deposits for build slots, but one dealer has just taken it as a deposit, whereas the other one has issued a formal order based on the base car price with no options.

That's a bit rubbish...

I do wonder what on earth is going on with these then. Maybe its not been as cut and dry as some dealers have been saying? I've not see anything on social media or YouTube either from those we know are going to be getting one and you'd assume would be among the first to have details confirmed.

Regarding colours, I saw this walk around on YouTube of a frozen grey/silver which I think looks good with the contrasting roof and the black details contrasting nicely.

Am still leaning towards a blue or purple, but the lighter ones do work in a very different way with that stark contrast to the black.

Well I’m hopping for them to release the purple as a standard colour. Then I’ll take mine in purple with the white interior please with the ultimate pack. Shame it’s going to tank value wise. Nevermind

You're right, and at the end of Q1 or later I reckon.

Still not showing on the configurator. The rest of the Internet is quiet on these at the moment. They're clearly going to be delayed.

Yep a big local bmw dealers near me isn’t getting a demo till Jan 2023 at the earliest

See price has rocketed. Order form from dealer a few months ago has OTR for my spec, ex paint, if £92,100. Exactly same on configurator this morning £96,120. That’s a 4.4% increase.

Possibly why UK have delayed taking orders as they wanted to get a price hike in. I hear orders taken and build slots confirmed last week in Germany.

Let's forget about the total price for a bit. I'm months away from having to spec it!

Price hasn't changed, even the options are all the same. They're quoting OTR price too.

I noticed that yesterday but wasn't sure if that's because they were part of a package I'd already selected or were part of the base spec. Need to have a better look today when I have more time.

What's that going to lose over three years and what are the deals going to look like based on likely future value?

Be worth 40 to 45k in 3 in years I think.

Yes, that what I thought looking at M4 & M5 values. And I guess after three years they'll find their value and level out.

So quick "bag of the fag packet maths"... About 45-50K to be financed on whatever deal you have. 15-20K in leaves you with your monthly payments of £600 - £900 per month depending on how much you put in.
