Very nice. What wheels are they please?
It took me a while to view all the different wheels on cars as black seems to be the most popular. The ones I’ve chosen are the 826M bicolour black wheel
Yes my fave.

Looks like the official pages are now going up, but when I go in to the "Build and Price" section, its still not giving the M3 engine option for Touring, so maybe its still being rolled out.

Can confirm they are a *** to clean and dont stay clean for long

I have to say the 825m wheels have been growing on me of late , didnt like them at first . I currently have a set of 826m at a wheel refurbisher for a colour change at the moment I'm hoping they will be an improvement

Yip, I have these on my M2 and they're a pain to clean! No matter how diligent I think I am when doing them, I always miss some bits and they definitely don't stay clean for long!

I had this email earlier;

Not sure how that reconciles with them being orderable from yesterday, or why they're still not showing on the configurator as other posters have said.

Surely if the car isn't on the web configurator, they're not expecting people to come an place orders? I wonder if their supply chain issues are going on longer than expected. Apparently, so I'm told, new general BMW orders are 20-26 weeks delivery at the moment!

If that's the case, they may well delay start of the line for the M3 Touring.

My friend has a deposit with the other local BMW dealer and they've not had their allocation confirmed yet either, but the one my deposit is with have. So your dealer's story mirrors what my friend has been told - he was starting to think he'd been getting told porkies given the order book is open, but maybe not.

Stop!!

I’m already now thinking about the Ultimate pack as it turns out my wife (in a complete unexpected turn of events) things the bucket seats look incredibly comfy. I was convinced she’d hate the idea of them… And I’d already been wavering about the carbon pack…

I spec'ed ceramics on a Cayenne V8 diesel I bought new in 2013, now after 140K miles it's still on the original discs, with life in them yet. If I'd had steels, I'd be on my third set of replacements at least, so effectively they've been cost neutral. biggrin

I think the carbon pack is a bit too bling, you can untick that one. yuck

Because I only occasionally take my cars on track I'd never considered ceramics tbh.

I go back and forth on the carbon stuff - I think depending on the colour of the car... Can't wait to see some detailed pictures of customer cars in different colours.

I’ve confirmed my spec with the dealer and signed the order so no going back now 😀

Ultimate pack
Individual Marina bay blue
Body coloured roof
Individual full ivory white
826M bicolour black wheels

Will be interesting to see how much time the paint adds to the build schedule.

Nice one!

Another blue colour and another body-coloured roof too! I did wonder if the black roof would work or just look out of place on the darker colours.

How does the white & silverstone leather age and hold up to use, I think it looks great but am a bit nervous about things like dye from clothes and any marks showing up badly, or am I worrying about nothing?

It will definitely be hard work. I’m planning to get the car partially PPF’d and the leather fully protected. I’ve mostly had light interiors so used to the maintenance. I’m also looking to get the backs of the carbon seats PPF’d as I’ll be carrying bikes and other large items in the back at times so want to be sure they’re protected.

Can’t speak for the carbon seats but the usual silverstone are fine in my m4 , treated them with a dye blocker when the car was new and I always wear jeans

None that I'm aware of. I still haven't, see last few posts.

I think there's dealer shenanigans going on, where *some* dealers are giving buyers signed and detailed order forms, having taken deposits so they can get these units in their Q3 sales figures.

BMW still haven't released the emissions figures for the M3 Touring. Until that is known, the total on the road price can't be known.

As above, and other posters have said, still not on the configurator, some other dealers don't have their allocations, I think the line for these will be delayed into the new year now.

I concur.

As I have posted previously, my dealer knows they have been allocated 4, and I have email confirmation I am getting one of them.

I have not been asked for a deposit, because as of yet they cannot lock an order down.

When they have clarity, they shall be in touch.

I would suggest that any dealer saying or offering anything else may not be being truthful.

At the sister dealership across the road, I have had an order in for a new plug in hybrid RR since announced and was told June, then August, then December and currently now after '73 reg.

To make up for it I am getting one of the 4 launch edition RR sports they have been allocated on Friday which was a nice unexpected gesture.

They were told they were to receive a further 20 before '73 plate, but last week it was indicated they might now receive a couple at best.

It really is all to pot just now, and my RR order has already increased by £5k, and would be surprised if it didn't have at least one more increase before it turns up; this may well be the case for anyone whom gets a firm order for an M3 touring as a signed order states how long that price shall be honoured for, and the last one I signed was for 30days.

The flip side is it is helping residuals.
