I'm moving to England as of mid Feb 09.

I have 3 years experience working for a private consultancy in Australia (Urban Design, large scale residential subdivisions, industrial and commercial developments mainly). Have concentrated on the client side liaison and development area, but have extensive experience in preparing Development Applications, Council and community consultation and project management. I have also been involved in the preparation of urban design masterplans and streetscape upgrades for a wide range of areas, including regional centre, historic villages and new subdivisions.

I'm flexible on location, but would prefer Leeds/Manchester region or SW.

Although I have only private sector experience I am willing to work within local government.

Obviously not a great time to be looking for private sector work. You could try and go through a recruitment agency, perhaps judd farris or anders elite.

With them at the moment. Private sector is way down, so will be looking for public sector contract work to tide me over.

Try looking in the Norfolk area!

There are jobs going there occassionally which the L.A. are finding hard to fill.

Purely because with a Unitary Authority looming people are jumping before they are pushed!
