Summer Placement

Hi all,

I am currently studying Managment & Organisation at degree level, it is my first year.

I am looking for some summer work next year which will be useful for my CV, could anybody recommend anywhere or could even offer me such work? As i am only a first year many companies are not interested.

Could try the NHS. I know we take on students on placement in Edinburgh, so you might want to try your local mob.

Not sure what sort of work you are looking, but my suggestion is try to secure a job in advance of every other student flooding the market in the summer, another option that might be worth thinking of is to get something for the Easter break as it is reasonably common for employers to ask students to work again in the summer break if they are any good (saves on training, trust already established etc)
