ive worked in car sales the last few years, half of the time on a self employed basis but now ive quite simply had enough and want to try something new, preferably with more normal working hours, i dont mind doing another sales based role but dont really know what to go for, i equally would be happy doing something completly different, i would need a salary of £25k+, i also have a BSc in Business IT but am reluctant to do anything in the computer industry, just after some advice and help really, i should also mention i would be quite happy to leave the country.

How about a field sales / business development role?

I was in the motor trade for a while, now am in the waste industry doing excatly that (looking after existing customers and bringing new ones into the fold)

Mon - Fri only, decent hours and a decent wage.

May be worth starting with a large operator such as Biffa (I did) - they are now paying up to £28k for a depot sales rep (business development exec) with car / bonus etc on top.

Have a search on Monster and good luck with whatever you decide to do.
