Currently looking for work after returning from travelling overseas.
I was previously employed as an Account Manager for an Adhesive Tape company.
My role was to promote, develop and sell a range of industrial adhesive tapes throughout the UK. My customer base encompassed DIY, Builders and Engineering Merchants, Large Retail Chains, Industrial End Users and Major UK Buying Groups.
I increased my sales turnover from £240,000 to £860,000 p.a. whilst maintaining excellent profit margins. I achieved this by opening new accounts in markets previously undiscovered by the company, expanding the range stocked by existing distributors and creating promotional campaigns.
I dealt with a broad range of decision makers from shop floor to main board level, negotiating and gaining orders either face to face or over the telephone.
