LFW: Industrial placement in Aerospace Sector
Discussion
Hi all I'm looking for an industrial placement in the Aero sector for 1 year starting next summer.
Anything considered, design is really my forte and I have experience of Solid Edge (attempting to learn Catia at present).
I also have experience of CFD program 'Phoenics' and 'Matlab'.

Airbus, BAE systems and Rolls Royce all run year long industrial placements and you can apply online.
I'd recommend getting in there quick because its usually first come first served and very competitive....

Tis true, I failed to get a placement at R-R at my first attempt, got on the graduate scheme the next year though.
I'm responsible for graduates and interns in Turbine Systems engineering at Rolls-Royce, (that sounds more important than it is) if you're still applying give me a bell I might be able to give you some tips and tricks.
