Civil Engineering - Anyone got any tips re: EPA for IEng?
Discussion
As per title really; planning my end point assessment (EPA) to attain IEng next year and wondered if anyone had any helpful tips for the assessment and the like? I'm planning on some ICE EPA workshops beforehand and some liaison with my uni (late to the game degree apprentice) but figured there must be some engineers on here somewhere that might be able to offer some helpful advice maybe?
Thanks in advance.

Speak to your sponsors and the ICE make sure you on the right path…
I’m about to submit my IEng and had a mild panic attack last week thinking I’d done the wrong application !
A swift email to the ICE Team and it was sorted in a few emails.
Good shout, hope your EPA goes well! Are you in the next round due in Feb?I’m about to submit my IEng and had a mild panic attack last week thinking I’d done the wrong application !

That’s what I’m aiming for- submission in the next few weeks and then interview etc.. in the new year.
I’m quite amazed/confused at the varying routes you can use to get IEng/Ceng.
Do you know which your going for- have you done to your report/s?
I've recently finished a degree apprenticeship in civils, so I've done some of the report work and prep via that, but not to completion. I was initially thinking of attempting this year's submission for Feb, but my work is seasonal and winter can get pretty busy, so thought it best to hold off so I can focus on it properly. Planning to undertake the EPA next summer hopefully, so submission next year. Mine will be for IEng, as it's kind of what the apprenticeship gears itself towards.I’m quite amazed/confused at the varying routes you can use to get IEng/Ceng.

I’d recommend having a chat with your local ICE Membership Development Officer, they’re usually very helpful. I attained CEng early 2023 and my local MDO had lots of really useful guidance along the way.
Also, do you know anyone who completed the process recently who could do a mock review with you?
I did Experiential Learning then Career Appraisal route, for what it’s worth, so unfortunately don’t have any direct experience with EPA route, sorry.
