Evening all thinking about career change just looking for some ideas looking for something with good progression, decent pay and always room to improve, decent entry into it ?

Always had a keen interest in everything regarding property but open to suggestions of what you have done ?

Thanks

What do you currently do? What qualifications and experience?

When you say an interest in property, do you mean from a hands-on perspective or the business side of things?

Depending on the above, it could suggest anything from the legal side, to surveying, to a trade.

Not much to go on. Production Operative or higher up (not necessary management - skills-wise).

From the information you've given us so far it sounds like you're actually working for MI6 hehe

Seriously though, if you're working in manufacturing, think about which transferrable skills you have accrued:
Quality control, quality assurance
Involvement with health and safety / occupational health - experience with chemicals, safe working practice, etc
Working to ISO 9000 or other standards
People management / supervision, discipline / HR type stuff
Administrative duties, computers, data input etc

Then look at what areas you like, and which of these transferrable skills could get you to an interview. Then get on the job sites and see what's out there

You’ve got no hope if you can’t produce more than this when asked multiple times what it is you do.

What other people have done is not that useful for you. You need to give a lot more information for any meaningful assistance.

I work on a production operating a machine . Was thinking along the lines of management but starting to think could I maybe go into a totally different industry. Even if this meant starting at the bottom .

Used to work foe Tesco as a delivery driver. Now a PC on traffic.

Also been a carer for children with disabilities and also adults.

Looked at becoming a driving instructor before I became a PC. Still thinking of doing it.

Different careers.

My sister is a primary school teacher. Other sister does something in the film industry.

If you can start at the bottom then pretty much any industry is open for you. You just need to decide what you want to do.

Without doing various training/qualifications/work experience, you have little chance of getting into management from operating a machine. There are several steps to take between those 2 positions.

Local authorities might be good for you. Lots of entry level positions and then internal moves. Easiest route to 'management' within 5-10 years.
