I thought it was time I refreshed my CV, which I considered to be not too bad - and I hire for some senior roles in my day job so see quite a few. I dropped Rog007 a line and we had a call this week after a few email exchanges. I found his insight valuable and our call has resulted in a complete re-write: not in the way I thought it might, but with a remarkably different structure (I thought my existing one was concise at 1.75 pages but the new approach takes it a step further). The hard graft is yet to be done but I’m confident that it has been a very interesting and positive intervention.

Cheers Rog.

I am battling doing my CV having not attended to it in over a decade.
I generally know all the basics and have helped people get in to some good level roles but can’t help but feel a little stuck when it comes to doing my own.

There is a certain level I am trying to push at, do you feel you got this with this service? The last thing I want to do is pay for a service that tells me the basic or mid level information I already know.

In a word, yes. I recruit for senior roles (as a line manager) and a CV written in this way would jump out at me in the way that the last 100 or so have not. There were some good ones in there but with my new lens there were no great ones. Hope that helps.
