BPSS Check and self employeed

Hi, I have a job offer which requires BPSS Check. I have a question on employer reference.

My new employer knows that i did my last two contracts through my ltd company and they also aware of a 6 month work history gap. I have also told them about my end clients.

On the BPSS form, should i mention my ltd company name and provide my accountants reference or it is better to provide end client names and their HR contact details for reference?

BPSS is no more than proving you are who you say you are. Stating you were self employed and providing accountants details should be more than enough.
