anyone recommend an employment lawyer in east midlands

looking for some help for a friend
don't want to go into too much detail online, it seems to be a case of unfair dismissal whilst they were off sick
anybody used or know of a good employment lawyer who can give their opinion ?

You don't necessarily need someone local as most is done remotely these days, although I do agree that meeting in person can assist.

he has gone from being very down and defeated to being much more positive in his attitude and not be accepting of what the company is doing.
