Employer owes salary escalation

Looking for advice please.
My wife left her Job four weeks ago and was owed 4 days salary ,which was 4 days of holiday pay to make her square. 300quid.

She should have been paid on the actual day she left as this was the monthly payroll date.
despite several email chasers during the month to the actual boss of this small firm the amount is still unpaid.
The next payday was today. Still unpaid.
What should my wife do now to put the frighteners on the firm to get this paid.

Was this amount her calculation or the companies? Did they agree at the point of her leaving?

Was agreed in advance . She worked 4 days instead of taking 4 days holiday before she left....

Paid 29 days late so my wife was fretting for all that time. V awkward for her to have to chase them. Poor form.
