Any over 60's had a career change?
Discussion
Hi all,
Not ready to retire (not enough in the pot at the moment due to covid hit business!) but am due to move out of the business. Have been doing what I do since I was 26 and am now 62. Anyone else changed career/industry but using the skills of a lifetime?
Thanks for any replies.
JM

Have you ever done a degree?
I suggested to my wife that she take out the full student loan, maintenance loan, spend 3 years building up a 70k debt to the student loan company and then retire.
Your math need some work. I suggested to my wife that she take out the full student loan, maintenance loan, spend 3 years building up a 70k debt to the student loan company and then retire.
Even If you studied in London you wouldn’t get £70k for 3 years.
Nice idea though.

If you have less than £25k household income, you might get a bursary if you choose the right course and/or university.
