BIK for electricity on company car private use
Discussion
My job comes with an all expenses paid company car. Previously I have declined the fuel card as it did not make economic sense to pay the tax against what I would spend in fuel.
I now have an electric car and have asked for my employer to pay for all my charging and not reimburse them at the recently updated 8p/mile. Is there a BIK to pay on electricity? if so is it calculated the same way as fuel was based on emissions, P11D value & my tax rate?
For about 2500 miles its hardly worth the hassle not paying it but I can't be arsed anymore having to scribble down every day where I have been to document my business miles which come to about 30k/yr
