Automotive industry painter/panel beaters help!
Discussion
Hi,
I hoping someone could point me in the right direction I'm currently a smart repairer and been doing it for around 6 years however i want too progress and become a time served spray painter.
The main reason is I want to gain my qualifications and get my papers. I'm trying to go down the apprenticeship route but money is just too low and wouldn't manage on such a small wage. Ive heard people do there ATA course but not sure what that is? is that the same qualifications as you would get from a apprenticeship? if so were do you attend.
Thank you and advice would be appreciated !

ATA is an automotive technician accreditation provided by the IMI through its centres normally.

Be worth checking their website to see if theres a provider/ asessment centre near you first.
