I am currently in talks with a Danish company on the west coast (Esbjerg) for a potential new job (big step up) and full relocation package.
Have been several times as a tourist but have no idea what it would be like to actually live there.

Anybody moved over there that could give me some advice? Living costs, any pitfalls and any advice is appreciated.

Would like to take my 911 over but have heard horror stories of high taxation based on emissions etc

I’ve also been on holiday there and loved the culture from a tourist’s perspective.

Subsequently read this book which might be helpful for your decision making… https://www.amazon.co.uk/Year-Living-Danishly-Unco...

Pretty sure there was a comprehensive thread a few years back with someone else in a similar predicament. I’m sure he wanted to take his car to Copenhagen. Hopefully someone can find that thread and sign post you to it.

I took a car to Norway, may be similar, if you have not been a resident of Norway for 5 years, and had a car registered in your name on a country where you had residency rights, for one year immediately preeeding the move, you can import it to Norway duty and tax free.
I took my 7 series.
