Paramedic / ECA

Have we got any paramedics or ECAs on here?

Something I've been considering for a while. I know the NHS is on its arse at the moment, jobs stacking up and pretty much job to job to job, but I'm still drawn to it.

Little worried that I'm not clever enough though. Got Cs in GCSEs (including science, maths and retook English in 2011). I'm dyslexic but get by ok.

Best friend is a ECA at the moment and hoping to do an observer shift with her to see what it's like. She likes to moan about work though, but hoped there is some good bits that make the st bits worth it!

Any advice would be great .
