Does anyone work for the same company for 15 years anymore! Has anyone achieved this milestone. If so, what did you get ?

One of my staff has just hit the 15 year mark and the company reward is a £200 voucher redeemable at a number of outlets.

This June I've been at my place for 21 years, last June on 20 years Service I got £1000 to spend on what I choose as a reward.

My work colleague has been here 40 Years this year and he is part of at least 10 people in the same boat.

But this is now a very rare thing and I will be moving on soon.

I've just hit 10 years, I got about £75 in vouchers (and a jazzy medallion for my pass)

I was a contractor for 15 years before this, and I can see me heading back that way soon.

I joined DEC (Digital Equipment Co) in 1980, made redundant in 1996 (nice lot of £s). At the same time, a chum started at Hewlett Packard. He is still there today!!

We didn't get 15 year awards then, had a silver Caran d'Ache pen for 5 years a gold Cd'A pen/pencil for 10 with a weekend away at Castle Howard and dinner with Duke/Duchess of Marlborough. I did also start to get share options each year from 10 too.

I managed 14 years with my last employed before going contracting.

I never received anything at any milestone, not even a mention in an email frown

My new place, the boss loves me!

Lol, you must work for the same company. Well I got 650 points to spend in the company's award shop. Reckon it's equivalent to 80quid. Decided on beats in ear headphones. It was either that or a strimmer. Oh and I got a badge..
TBH I didn't expect much, but would have liked a nice watch :-)

Place where i worked there were a few guys and women who got long service awards (20 years i think).

they got a tie and cufflinks. Yes even the women!

i know they don't owe you anything for your long service, after all they've been paying you! But if you are going to get people a little something...at least put some thought into it! They deserve that much at least!

Approx a dozen people a month are getting either 20, 25 or 30 year awards at our place.

Everyone has either been here 20 years plus or sub 4 years.

Very very few inbetween.

My wife has just completed 20 years at a global telco, She got a meal out and a mention in the newsletter. At 15 years she got a few gifts to the value of £200-300. They were taken over between the two dates so it looks like there is no official recognition in the new structure.

My current employer is only 20yo. Some people have been there since the start, others are 10years plus. This is IT again.

40 years? Not doing the same job surely? I couldn't even imagine what that must feel like 40 years is a long time.

I've got an employee here who has done over 50 years, same company, same site, almost the same room, I think pretty much the same job too!

DEC use to organise some excellent piss ups for their customers. I was invited to a few in the early 90's.
