Supposedly, 'big data' is what I do.

I know of a place looking for a junior data scientist. One of the handful of companies with full Twitter firehose access. You'd need Python, R, Hadoop, lot of machine learning and NLP experience. Reading-based though.

I'm just starting to get involved with Big Data from an architect level looking to combine it with 'normal' Data Warehouses. It should be an interesting process.

As it's early days, the Big Data cluster has about 10% of the storage of the Data Warehouses, so not so big after all. Yet.
