Start off as a RIGGER/Roustabout

Hello everyone,

Here's the thing, I want to start off in the industry, got my Rigger 1, MIST and since year and half, I couldn't get anywhere..best replies were "as soon such position arises" or "not enough experience but wish you all the best in future endeavours"..I know I'm not the only one who has send 500+ mails but it seems like there is no chance at all. And all I have left is to go knock on the doors in Aberdeen but I'm not from UK so I save it as a last resort..My experience in previous jobs don't help, that much I know, I was a steward on offshore vessels (that's how I came across all this), been a scaffolder in Spain (no tickets required ther by the way), few times OS/deckhand and some labour work with container handling company.
I foound the topics on this site's forum concerning wind farm jobs so I thought maybe there are any offshore working people here who know some good hints..Soon I will have to redo the tickets and apart from Rig1 and MIST I'm thinking of WaH, Confined space or IRATA. Any suggestions to that as well?


I'm Polish by the way, which I didn't think would be any disadvantage but..
