Just wondering what the law is (if any) re time between shifts ? sure I read once you had to have 12hrs between shifts ?
My partner has just started as a nurse and her shifts are all over the minute but at the moment a lot of the time she does 8hr afternoon shift 2.15pm-9.15pm then in 5.45-2,25pm
with travelling time ect she gets 6 hrs sleep if she is really lucky

I presume that the reference to special circumstances where the rules dont apply is how they get away with it ?
as it says "need for continuity of service "
