Door To Door Sales - Training
Discussion
Good morning Ph!
I'm currently in Australia where door to door sales is still very much active! My role is to train and develop the team every single day! Problem is it's becoming very stale!
A bit of background info, I have to capture the imagination of 20 young kids from 18 - 25 every day for 45 minutes. Our sales pitch hasn't and won't change it is very scripted which is good as it works, however it's becoming dull day after day!
We focus on attitudes when selling and how to handle rejection, also body language and tone of voice also how to close customers and build rapport. We also try to make it fun but I'm running out of ideas!!
Any suggestions on exercises we can do as a group and mix things up a bit?
Look forwards to some ideas, cheers guys!

Both in a way! I love the idea that I can help these kids learn and it feels great knowing I've helped people improve, however doing the same things every day can get very dull! Also some of these kids are not the most intellectual either!
Sales results have decreased and it's very clear that when we have energy and enthusiasm in training then that days results definitely pick up.
But it's definitely more about improving results at the moment!

Sorry, but your post style epitomises everything that's wrong with those jobs, for me. All 'yay, let's go to work! Motivation, team! Come on, people!' And for 45 minutes a day?
Is the office absolutely tiny, hard to find, and has the company name changed more than once in the last five years?
Eh, I know I shouldn't post. But still.
