CV help - finance analyst role
Discussion
Hi
At the beginning of the week I was told that our department was going to be completely restructured to make it more cost effective and that my role is going to be affected. I have only been with the company for 10 months and am therefore not entitled to redundancy pay so have since been weighing up my options.
My previous experience has been in application support, usually for bespoke or in-house developed products. There seems to have been an increase in the amount of app support that is now being outsourced so I'm thinking that this could be an opportunity to change career paths.
I've always enjoyed analysing data and creating reports so started looking at jobs that would based around that. One position that came up was as a financial analyst for a local company. They aren't looking for any specific qualifications, but have stated that the successful candidate will be put through CIMA courses.
I've rewritten my CV to try and tailor it towards this role and was hoping that a kind soul would be able to read it to see if there was anything that can be improved. I've always wanted to work for the company in question so am keen to give myself the best opportunity possible.
Thanks in advance and apologies if the post is a bit long winded.
