Dealership Drivers
Discussion
They called when cars needed to be picked up or delivered. So basically just paid hourly as and when required.
Where are you based?
ETA Just seen Essex. I would pop a suit on, get some free business cards and tout the local dealerships. Thats what I did and both BMW and MINI were keen. They had two other guys so just be as flexible as you can and react with zero notice.

I did it full time when I left college. We would go out and collect customers cars in the morning then they would be serviced etc then we would wash them and take them back. Worked 8.30-5.30 daily and 1 weekend in 4 ( on rota) was actually quite a fun job and the occasional perk of a serious car though that depends where you get the job. If you work for Kia not much to look forward too but as a car mad 19 year old -23 year old being told to go off and drive an Elise through to Merc SL65 I bloody loved it.
Think my salary was about 19k a year though

I have just started doing this, collecting customers cars for service and returning them at the end of the day. The job its self is very easy and being with Mercedes I have gotten to drive some nice stuff.
This is after being out of work for two years, so took the job as I want to be in work than not. Down side is they are only paying min wage, and I have been at this for a month now. So when the probation period is up I am hoping I can negotiate a higher rate.
Otherwise anyone want to hire a very compitent driver, former Customs officer. Who is 50 and needs full time work. I am in Buck's.
