Part time work wanted, Staffordshire area.

As above really, had a bit of a bombshell dropped at work today and have been dropped to 3 day week as of next week.
I'm currently working for a building repair company in the capacity of estimator/surveyor, but have vast experience in customer service industry, as well as property lettings and management, and also E-commerce website management.
willing to do pretty much anything, as long as it pays the bills/makes up the difference i've lost from the 2 days dropped at work.
can be pretty flexible with regards to days or hours, and willing to take weekends if needs be.
i would really appreciate anything anyone could offer.
thanks in advance

i fully agree, and if something came along that was full-time, then i'd definitely be interested.
just need to worry about the short term currently, so if anything is available i'm ready to talk and see if we can sort something out that will benefit both parties.
should have said, i've been with my current employer for 10 years, loyal, hardworking and love a challenge, if something came up that was car related, that would be a dream job for me!!!

10/10 for looking to fill the 2 days. You might want to think about looking to change altogether too? Without wishing to be doom merchant, the three day thing is often a precursor to full on insolvency.
Just a thought.

Seems a bit like deja vu for me reading this thread. I was an estimator for a ventilation contractor and we started dropping down to 3/4 day weeks in 2009. In 2010 I took up part time hours with another company and when my original employer became insolvent in 2011 I moved to the other company full time.
It's a totally different job and instead of construction it's retail but there's real prospects where I am and have just accepted a promotion.
the one thing i will say is that my current employer is a true fighter, and wont go down without a major major fight, we have already diversified into other markets, but those will take time to mature, but are heading in the right direction, and our hope is that things will pick up once those are at full maturity.
