Facial hair in the office?
Discussion
Depends on the company, really.
Ignore the likes of Pavka; presumably he himself has a limit to what he thinks is acceptable in the workplace, despite his protestations. One person may draw the line at facial hair, while another my draw the line at 43 facial piercings and a forked tongue.

Thank you very much for the input!
I decided to get rid for now...
I remembered thinking when I decided to grow it that I was only do it until I got a better job.
This is going to be the industry I really want to be in, whereas my petrol station job was the last kind of position I wanted to be in.
So feel like I should make every effort for this one.
I'll see what the people are like there, I can easily grow it back in a few days
.

Very pragmatic, and I'd argue it's the best approach.

The definition of small minded people us very strong around here
Please be so kind not to pass judgement on me or make a suggestions regarding my limits, you don't even know who I am and what I do for living.
OP asked for opinions and we all expressed one including you, so respect the other people views even if they are in contradiction with your own.... is that too much for you to comprehend?

I very much doubt I'm the one having comprehension issues.

My post epitomises the concept of open minded - I even acknowledged the myriad opinions on the subject when I said that where one person draws the line is likely very different from where another does.
I very much doubt I'm the one having comprehension issues.
You should read your post again then. The whole posting contain 53 words...in 21 of them you are addressing my previous post and you making a judgement on me. This is 40% of your posting. Now you tell me how this is not a personal and very narrow minded post?I very much doubt I'm the one having comprehension issues.
