If you've exhausted the internet with no joy, then you really are going to have to try the personal touch.
Make sure your CV is top notch (I don't mid having a look too (it's what I do)), then get a rucksack with 50 copies and some food and water in it and then walk the streets popping in to businesses that you feel would benefit from your skills and experiences and giving them a copy of your CV. If you drop 50, I'd be surprised if you didn't get a nibble, even if just from the fact that you took the initiative and time to go to the business. Good luck; and do let us know how you get on.

Okay, I've had a look at what you have posted there. Your academic grades are very impressive. The thing that would have me scratching my head, should a C.V. like that land on my desk, would be that you would appear to be a bright chap. You are telling me (in the C.V.) that you are a go getter, and are ambitious, You then go on to say you worked on the tills at ASDA. That doesn't stack up. I don't mean that as a criticism of folk who work at supermarkets, just that most people who work at supermarkets (shelf stacking, till work, etc) who are not doing it to raise funds during college breaks and the like, and who aren't doing it as a second job, are not that ambitious I.M.E. It could generate enough curiosity to want to haul the candidate in, to give them a chance to explain it, and give me a better idea of what I was dealing with. However, if it was a post which had attracted a lot of attention, I would put something like that in the round filing cabinet. Try to remember to add any posts, or experience you've had where you weren't paid (volunteering / charity etc.). Or if you had any sort of roles in clubs or societies outside of work. I know economic times are tough, and some good people have had to put up with rubbish jobs to get by. Anything that demonstrates a candidate has made an effort to shine outside of a work environment would help me.
That's a typical attempt at a CV that fails to meet the requirement of a CV, and that is to impress upon the reader (potentially your next boss) what you can do for them in improving their business. Most people fall in to the trap of listing responsibilities when in fact they should be highlighting impact. Most of my CV clients struggle with this concept initially but the penny soon drops and we then end up with an outstanding CV regardless of the age, seniority and experience of the individual. Your CV is a list, it is subjective - IE YOU think you have excellent customer skills - I might have a different definition of excellent.
NUMBERS - all my revised bullet points are quantified. IE less subjective - you are evidencing each point (please revise my numbers for accuracy though.
So now where to send it. What do you really want as a job

How are you going to get there?
Make a plan now, tailor your cv to that job and go for it. Interviewers will love seeing a ng termplan and not just a "do anything i spose" cv. If you're not bothered, why would you be a better candidate for the role than the next man?
More importantly, whatever job you get is just a steppng stone towards the powerfully built directorship of your choice. Your cv proves that when youset your mind to it, you excel. Now, you want THIS job for x reason, you're going to get it, be awesome and get promoted.
