Hi all, after a few pointers really.

Previous roles have been in recruitment for 7ish years and Currently in management. I have a team of 25+ staff who I practically need to baby sit. Report KPI's, monitor sickness, all the usual cr@p.

Anyway, company has been sliding downhill, staff becoming a royal daily pain in my a$$, and there is never any praise just the whole 'sh!t flows down' theory.

So I want to get out... and have been thinking about a total change in direction and taking up some courses to get into Networking/Engineering, like the CCNA and others that may help. I can build PC's and generally know the basics, but would like to take this further and make it a career.

Any tips on what course providers/ where to do courses, best companies to look for this sort of role (or others in this area?) with would be a great help. (I am in the Gloucestershire area)

Thanks smile

Comstor training in Cirencester - I've attended four courses there and would recommend them.

However as with all thing the training is only half of the story; experience is what counts (which I appreciate doesn't help you much) I would have a look at the it job board or jobserve websites to see what jobs are available but I would imagine they will involve a considerable pay drop
