I have an interveiw tomorrow, I am getting myself prepped for it but I am finding it really hard to get a good understanding of the company as their website is under construction and google is bringing up nothing as its a small company.

is it best to come clean and apologise that information is difficult?

I have mentioned this to the recruitment company who are the middle men in this but I am waiting for an answer

If it's a big firm try phoning to speak to their marketing people, explaining that you have an iv tomorrow and would like info re the company/role.

If you try the same with reception they may be able to put you through to your potential new colleagues

Try searching for the type of business with a view to reading similar companies' websites or discussions of that business type's needs.

I would put a random call in and ask to speak to someone who does similar to you.
It has the double benefit of a)You knowing what you're talking about at interview and b)If it's a small company then it will likely filter upwards that you have done this and you will be seen to have your wits about you when overcoming problems.
