Discussion
Evening all, I'm looking to change my current position and have thought about becoming a Police Station Representative for duty solicitor cases. Now I currently work in a police station environment that deals with the reps and solicitors but having read many different websites i'm still unclear of what the process involves and whether it is a full time job or a call out as and when.
What i'm asking basically is:
Are there any legal reps, or solicitors that deal with legal reps that can point me in the best direction. I'd like to leave my position to change to this but need to know if I have to cover the costs or if you get employed by a firm of sols that contract you in and they cover the cost as, from what I understand - Need to be supervised by a Duty Solicitor.
