I wasn't really sure where to post this but I guess here will do. I applied to NATS a couple of years ago for a trainee air traffic control position, passed an online assesment and was invited to book an assesment at one of their sites but as I work full time and the dates only seemed to come online at 48hours notice I didn't bother booking. They've contacted me again out of the blue with another invite to attend assesment and they've sent me a document of info to learn so I'm going to go for it this time, in the document it has lots of stuff about radar, airspace types etc which I can learn quite easily but the second half is a list of about 30planes some with 3 variations with speed range, altitude range, how many passengers the 3 variations carry and the routes + companies that use them. Does anyone have any ideas on how the f
k I'm going to memorise these I take in structured information quite easily but I have no idea how to take this in. I made loads of little cards before with all of the info on for each plane and just learnt them one at a time but it took me a long time to learn half and when reciting them back I was probably only getting a 90% success rate. Any advice would be greatly appreciated ... Matt
p.s learning the rest word for word and hoping it is enough for a pass isn't an option I did that before when I applied the first time and about half of the paper turned out to be on the plane specs but the rest I felt I had done really well with.

Your right in that cards with each plane on is a good way to go, don't just recite these but write them over and over again.
I'd also assign each plane a number or letter. So your memory can link that to the plane.
I think if you've written it a few hundred times you'll start to get the jist.
