Graduate QS - Which Job?

I'd go with the consultancy role. You'll be a better rounded QS for it, and to be honest, anybody that says different is either telling porkies, or in denial.
As regards money - I'm not sure where the above poster is coming from, as you've said there's virtually no progression in your current role and haven't named the consultancy you'd be moving to. I'd hazard a guess that both your money (eventually) and prospects will improve with the consultancy role, though. The exit opportunities are generally more plentiful.
Oh, and PQS really isn't slow paced. Well, I suppose if there's no work on, it would be. But then so would CQS in that situation.
