I've reached a bit of a cross road in my career now and looking for a new direction.
I've worked for 10 years now so still relatively young having done housing and major contracting abroad but I'm thinking 'what now'?
I had to come back to the uk last year on health grounds (I'm ok now) but I still want travel to be a part of what I do. Commuting to the same job day in day out just doesn't appeal but I can't up sticks and leave again permanently as it was quite tough on me last year.
I still want a uk base to come back to and have considered going it alone and taking up some temporary contracts as I can afford to do that. there's some good money to be earnt out there but although I had a senior role abroad I'm unsure that companies in the UK would pay senior money.
Anyone have any suggestions / ideas?
