Internships for an Aeronautical Engineering student?
Discussion
Hi everyone,
I'm in 3rd year of a 5 year degree in Aero Eng and currently applying for summer/12month internships for next year.
I'm looking for suggestions for who to apply to in the field of car manufacturing and motor-sport as I won't have time to apply to everyone. What motor-racing organisations outside of F1 will employ aero engineers as interns? What about car manufacturers and aerospace companies that I haven't listed below?
Already applied to
-Williams F1
-Jaguar Land-Rover
-Rolls Royce (Aero engines)
-General Electric
-BAE Systems
-MBDA (Missiles)
-Cummins
-Subsea 7
Cheers for any suggestions guys.

Cheers for all the suggestions so far guys, there's some companies in there I hadn't even heard of and I'll deffo give them a go. Airbus has its deadline at the end of the month so I've got plenty of time for that. To my original list I can now add Prodrive and Mercedes-Benz High Performance Engines. Williams is the only team advertising placements but I'll deffo fire off an application to some others too. So far my course is virtually identical to that of straight Mech with Aero as a side dish so I should be OK for a more mechanical engineering based role. Keep the suggestions rolling guys!
