How did/do you get into such careers??

My situation

Too qualified for apprenticeships/ not near enough experience for technician roles.

I'm 19 years old and hold two LEVEL 3 Diplomas in Engineering.

I'm about to apply for an apprentice for an engine builder which doesn't require
qualifications, should I remove my level 3 qualifications from my CV??

any help is appreciated!
