Not how to drive at a track day

Mark April 14th in your diary as this is the day we'll be heading to the legendary Silverstone GP Circuit for the second of the 2011 PistonHeads track day events, held in association with track day lords BookaTrack.

Silverstone needs no introduction and, as this is the full GP circuit, it promises to provide a fantastic day of track driving for beginners and track heroes alike.

PH and BaT run the sessions to an open pitlane format meaning plenty of access to the circuit and no pressure to stay out for lap after lap either. The BookaTrack team will be on hand to look after you on the day and, as usual, full tuition is available if required at the circuit.

There are only 17 places remaining at this moment, so please book as soon as possible to reserve your space.

Itinerary

08:00 Driver, passenger and spectator sign-on
08:30 Full safety briefing
09:00 Driving Begins
12:30 Morning driving ends - Lunch
13:30 Afternoon driving begins
17:00 End of day

Noise limit:
105db @ 0.5m, 45 degree from exhaust at ¾ maximum RPM
102db drive by

In addition, PH members will benefit from the availability of the BaT fleet of Caterham Superlights - ideal for anyone not wishing (or not able!) to track their own toys. These will be available to hire at all PH track events on a first come, first served basis. See here for more details.

A full UK driving licence must be shown to the circuit representative
An MSA race licence or photocopied driving license is NOT a valid substitute
No Single Seaters / Open Wheeled Cars
