Iv just booked for Silverstone on the Grand Prix circuit on 5 May. (with Trackdays.co.uk) Any ph'ers going to be attending ?

Never driven Silverstone, cant wait !

You certainly appear to be getting the track time in there goz.

Racing at the weekend, so can't make this one, but I do love the GP circuit (I'm not sure that that puts me in the majority though). Very fast and very safe - if only the complex would be over a bit quicker.

Having said that, I hit the wall there a couple of weeks ago at 70mph - direct hit - so care required out of Woodcote in the wet.

I will be in a Radical SR3 (lime green) also some friends will be there with an Ultima, another Radical and a Lotus 340r, a nice mix of cars.

Yeah plenty of track time at the minute. Hopefully the weather will be good, unlike the last few days, I hate driving in the wet

Will do.

Actually, I don't mind the wet since a) there will be fewer cars on track and b) any offs will be at much lower speeds since you won't be caning it and c) you can practice car control at the limits of grip at low speeds. I once shared a very wet Cadwell Park with a 'rari 545 (I was in a Chimaera). I was by no means going as fast as I could but he was still slower...
