Just saw a repeat show of 5thGear where VHB's driving the Radical against the Atom. She says the Radical is more difficult to get the most out of, and she does seam to be fighting it a bit.
I don't have that much driving experience. I have driven my 993 on a track, and I've also driven a TKM kart a fair bit, so I've only got them to compare. I'd thought the Radical would be more like the kart, but is it that much more difficult to drive? As far as I know the kart could corner over 3g (at much lower speed of course) and it can be quite "responsive".
Anyone with the experience to tell?

I doubt a TKM could generate 3G on the std tyres - Rotax use much stickier rubber and 2G would be exceptional and insantaneous (ie not sustained for any length of time). But if you've done TKM to a decent level, then a radical should be fairly straight forward.

I've driven a radical ProSport round Mallory and Donington and it's not too difficult - you just need to get used to the effect that downforce/slicks has on the mid to high speed corners ( like Gerrards@Mal and Craners@Don). And the brakes are way better than most other track weapons.
