Just spent an awesome day at Bedford - Despite the changeable weather (very wet PM), the mix of cars they have is wonderful. FPA single seater(200bhp), JP1 on long and short circuit, Vx220T, Caterham 7, Evo VII, Clio cup, karts and even some fun off-roading.

Anyone else from PH there today? and anyone else done it?

Anyone be up for a PH day there in the summer?

me and my dad done this day last year, top fun, it was fan-bloody-tastic, nearly landed myself a contract witht the fpa boys, i was half a second off the british karting champion. on the first one i beat him on a couple of laps, and they sent me out again on my own and said if i get a certain time they will give me a contract there and then, missed it by half a second.

i was gutted!!!! great day tho, im hoping to do it again, if my dad wants to buy another £700 bday present, haha

yeah ive done it a few times and won overall. was by far the best 'organised' trackday i've done. still not nearly as much track time as a normal track day in your own car. fpa's and palmer jags were great fun.

By far the best rtack day in the UK right now - but getting interested to see if he's going to run any on the Brands GP circuit....

A big hurray for coprorate hospitality!

Running the cars on a circuit such as Brands would be very different - The big advantage, IMHO, of Bedford is that if/when you run out of talent, there's usually nothing to hit - and with the change to 'bank' corner on the west circuit, there's even less chance of bending the car. Imagine getting it wrong out the back at Brands - could be very expensive ( I've done it at Sheene and it is)

went to bedford in november (there was ice on the track!)
instructers are all racing drivers and make sure you drive all the cars to the limit, choice of cars was fantastic (love those jp1's) would recommend it to everyone who is not rich enough to afford a track day car.
I had an especially good moment on the karts when i rammed my area manager off the track!
and to cap it all off the day did not cost me a penny as it was paid for by one of our suppliers!!!!
