Bike trackdays - ACU licenses required

Morning,

Does anyone know the status of how the ACU are planning to get involved in trackdays? Several reports in the press suggest the ACU will require riders to obtain an annual 'trackday license'. Any news or views on this? I think this is mainly being done for liability reasons on the part of the insurance companies that cover the trackday organisers.

Not following in detail, but IIRC correctly last issue of Circuit Driver said the plan had been dropped. Also said that the 'no single seaters' ban imposed by the ATDO insurers had been circumvented.

Hey, if we wanted red tape and admin we'd go racing :-)
